You will be responsible for supporting and growing all of the technical infrastructure, from data centre through to desktop. This offers a great opportunity to develop your experience and hands-on skills.
Guaranteeing the smooth running of all systems, including anti-virus software, patches and networking equipment
-Providing secure access to the network for remote users.
-Scheduling and managing upgrades and backups of hardware and software systems
-Ensuring back-up systems operate effectively.
-Researching and installing new systems
-Purchasing hardware and software
-Implementing improvement plans to meet the company?s information security management system policies and controls
-Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
-Offering internal staff users appropriate support and advice
-Mentoring and training a small team (systems engineer and database administrator)
-keeping up to date with the latest technologies that are relevant to the company?s operational needs
-Linux (UbuntuCentOS) administration and troubleshooting ?
-Windows 7102008 R22012 R22016 administration and troubleshooting
-IP routing and switching
-Network monitoring and management
You will work on a wide range of areas. Experience of any of the following is a bonus:
-Cisco and pfSense Firewall, IDSIPS ?
-Network troubleshooting and monitoring tools
-Hardware RAID and software RAID (mdadm)
-Data centre infrastructure, cabling, fibre ?
-Nagios (or similar tools eg Zabbix)
-Google AppsJIRA administration
-Samba, LDAP and Kerberos
-SSL certificate issuing and configuration
