Linux systems administrator needed to join a technology company in Waterloo, specialising in robotic process automation. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative environment and a fast growing tech company, with plans to triple in size over the next 3 years.
You’ll join a technology company using Appian to create robotic process automation solutions for the healthcare, life science, finance and insurance sectors.
They offer flexible working, a technology driven and non-corporate environment. They also offer opportunities for training, career progression and specialisation, and are able to fund relevant certifications. If you want to join a successful company and become part of that success, enhancing your future career prospects, then this could be for you.
What is key is that you will be a curious IT professional looking to improve the business you join. Your bread and butter will be administering and configuring Linux servers that host RPA applications used by their clients. You will look after general infrastructure, such as firewalls and databases. Future plans will involve OS and security upgrades which you will be involved with. Excitingly, as technology changes, this company will look to you to make business cases for introducing new cutting edge technologies.
Sharing your knowledge and learning from your colleagues, you’ll be the go to Linux person, and you’ll be working with other IT Infrastructure professionals who will want to learn from you, but you will want to learn from them also. Alongside this you will have access to a training platform that gives you access to new knowledge, and in particular you will learn more about Appian and robotic process automation.
