They have been steadily growing and are looking for a hands-on QA lead to joining the team to help with testing new features and defect fixes. This is a great opportunity to lead the testing function and have a great influence over the strategy and functionality of their product going forwards.
My client is looking to speed up their release cycle and move to a more formal process. The QA lead will ensure each story is ready for release, which involves assessing Jira stories, reproducing customer issues, creating test plans, executing manual tests, overseeing automated test and co-ordination with the rest of the team.
The application has strong knowledge base documentation, solid sets of automated tests in Selenium and Java to cover UI and back end regression tests.
This is a great opportunity to take ownership of the testing function, while remaining hands on and keeping your technical skills.
The role is remote with one day a week in their west London office initially.
